and how much would it cost?


The cost of materials for building a Nudura house is based on the sum of the construction elements used, rather than on the square footage. In most cases, Nudura will be cheaper per square meter on average compared to traditional construction in the long run. If you are a person of numbers and want to compare prices directly, keep in mind some key advantages:

  • Nudura walls have double insulation (internal and external with a total of 13.4 cm of insulation),
  • it saves on formwork itself and labor costs for putting up formwork and its removal,
  • the builders needed are significantly less (do-it-yourself type),
  • construction time is significantly faster,
  • it builds completely straight walls and corners,
  • it provides a perfectly smooth base ready for plastering or drywall, without the need for leveling or straightening with plaster,
  • it simplifies the installation of electrical and plumbing systems,
  • the building is much easier to maintain and has an extremely long life,
  • the insulation is not attacked by rodents and does not support mold,
  • the insulation is well attached to the wall and cannot be blown away by hurricanes, withstanding winds of 402.3 km/h,
  • the construction method is easier, more efficient, and of higher quality.

We know through experience that simply providing a price list would not be optimal for the customer. Each house is unique (like its future owner), and the price varies depending on:

  • architectural plan,
  • wall thickness,
  • number of corners,
  • number and size of openings (windows/doors),
  • location - on a slope or flat terrain,
  • type of roof,
  • geometry of the slabs, etc.

For this reason, the price of an individual element or the average price per square meter of built-up area can be very misleading. Therefore, the price of the elements is calculated for each specific project.

However, for general guidance, here are 5 sample houses with different square footage and swimming pools with prices for Nudura forms (prices are current as of June 2024):

Description:

  • Building: 72 sqm single-storey house

  • The reinforcement and concrete for the walls and the bottom of the pool are not included in the price! They must be executed in accordance with the construction requirements and the designer's project. The concrete required for the walls is approximately 9 cubic meters for this pool.
  • Any architectural plan/project can be used for construction with Nudura insulation forms. No project redesign is necessary!
  • The permissible wall height for a single concrete pour is 12 meters. For this reason, Nudura forms are preferred for the construction of schools, concert and sports halls, warehouses, and churches.
  • There are no restrictions on the height of the building. The tallest Nudura buildings constructed to date are 22-story student dormitories in Canada.

    2. If you do not have an architect, contact us (CONTACTS) and we can recommend you one or two.

    3. If you have a ready project, send it to us so that we can calculate it accurately. We will need it in AutoCAD or PDF format, preferably a structural and architectural plan with dimensions and facades included.

    4. If you have already started construction and have already built some part of it, but want to continue with Nudura forms, contact us and we will discuss your specific ideas, desires, and possibilities. We have already done this option and it is no problem to finish the project with ICF! Please note, however, that delivery times are approximately 12 weeks from the date of payment, because everything is manufactured in Canada and delivered directly from there to ensure complete quality control. (We keep Nudura insulation elements in stock, but not for an entire house.)
